Default "vBulletin 3.5.1 released" Now what?

Will the CMPS, Gallery and Links for 3.5 work with 3.5.1?

Thanks in advance

Yes, yes, and yes.

- CMPS you just need to re-apply the changes to global.php after uploading the new vB 3.5.1 version.

- Gallery I had to re-run vbagallery_install.php and choose the option to re-install the templates because I was getting the white page of doom. After re-installing the templates everything worked fine.

- Links I had to edit a directory to update the cache because I was getting a divide by 0 error. After updating the cache (by touching a directory) everything worked fine.

You just need to touch any of your Links directory settings to update your vB cache.

Oh, now I understood!
I hope I have no problems with this upgrade (however I usually have problems due to my bad luck )
I'll probably update this afternoon

I nearly fainted seeing an upgrade so soon after I finally upgraded to 3.5 especially since I still haven't got the cmps working fully - oh well

I have no clue what changes I made to global.php. Will have to start keeping notes of what files I've changed and why

Glad I read this thread, I would have panicked to see white pages I had gallery installed, do I just download the gallery files, is there any changes I need to make to the vbagallery_install.php file

From the installation readme in CMPS:

Quote:
Installation Instructions
Step 1 - File Modifications

In your /forum/global.php file: (3 Changes)

...etc....

Were you around for the vB 3.0.x series of upgrades? I think some of the people were screaming over the rapid point releases they did for that one.

Assuming that you've only modified it for CMPS then there are just three minor cut-&-paste edits to do. Should only take a minute or so to re-do.

Nope, none of you existing Gallery files need to be touched. Just upgrade to vB 3.5.1 like normal and then go into your gallery.... if you get the blank white page then upload vbagallery_install.php back to your /forums/admincp folder then run it & choose the option to re-install only the templates.
