Default Add CMPS Left Bar to Links Pages?

I have been successful in adding the CMPS pages to the other VB pages but cannot get it to show in the Links. Any ideas?

Thanks!

You should just need to add the following code to the page you wish to integrate:

define('VBA_PORTAL', true);
define('VBA_PAGE', 'your_page_name_here');

The rest of the work is already done for you in the links directory files.

I tried but no luck, I get the following error:

Quote:
Warning: array_keys(): The first argument should be an array in /includes/functions_gallery.php on line 427

Warning: Division by zero in /includes/functions_gallery.php on line 1134

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare construct_orderby() (previously declared in /home/trackpad/public_html/forum/includes/functions_gallery.php:1343) in /home/trackpad/public_html/forum/includes/functions_links.php on line 271
Which is odd because it is pointing to the functions_gallery file?

Have you modified your functions_links.php file at all? I don't see how you would get an error like that otherwise...

About the only other thing I can suggest would be to search your global.php and includes/functions.php files for functions_gallery.php to see where it's being included. It may have been added in one of those files for some type of gallery hack, but (as you see) it isn't going to work because of the duplicate function names in the two scripts.

I just checked both and functions_gallery.php isnt in either.

Is there a way to put the left bar in links and not gallery? I am really in love with this 'portalizing' of my site. I never realizd how much you could do with cmps, very very cool

You've got something funky going on somewhere then as there's no reason you would be getting that error on a default install of the programs.
To have the bars in just the links directory and not the gallery you would just need to remove the code you've added in your gallery files to integrate the CMPS and be sure the code I mentioned in post #2 is in your links directory files.

Ok,

I havent added any code to integrate the gallery. That is whats driving me mad. I was trying the links first and havent touched the gallery at all.

I am goind to reupload all my links and gallery files and see what happens then, I cant figure it out.

Sounds good. If you still get that error after you upload the files and want to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look for you.
