Default Two Navbars--?

Hi,
We were making some changes to the navbar file and ended up with 2 navbars accross the top of the website. We tried to revert but it only effected the lower one. Checked the code in navbar and it is for 1 bar only...? Any ideas?
Just installed your links software...seems to be working.

My guess would be that you've added the $navbar variable somewhere else. Most likely in your header template.

Default Re: Two Navbars--?

Hello:

I also have two navbars, a small one that shrinks and the main one (the correct one). I have several of my pages integrated with CMPS. You can check out my site here: http://www.naturalbeautycafe.net/

If you click on a thread and try to view its contents, you will see on the showthread page, the error message about having to register first, as well as the two navbars.

This is the only page that I found that has this problem. If I turn off navbar for this page, it turns off the top navbar, which is the one I want to keep.

I don't know where to find the other navbar hiding in either the showthread.php page or the showthread template.

Can someone help me please? Thanks!

EDIT (for update):

I figured it out. Instead of looking at the SHOWTHREAD template, I looked under STANDARD ERROR template and removed this code:

Code:
<if condition="$navbar">
$navbar
<else />
<br /><br /><br />
</if>
After I removed this, I now only have my top navbar which is the one I want to keep. I hope that I am not breaking something by removing this piece of code in the template.

Bump! Just noticed this problem too.

Removing the if condition works great, but it's best to leave the

Code:
<br /><br /><br />
Still there
