Lightbulb [REQ] quick New Thread form

This would be great for community blogs, much like the sites that I run. It'd make it really easy for a member to start a thread right from the CMPS. There was something like this for the Forum Home on vb3.0 but I haven't found anything like it since. Any help on this would be great, thanks.

Well i supose you could set up the form hack and have it in a block on the front page so it is a quick thread starter but it wont post replys to the threads..

That'd be PERFECT. A big chunk of my users just feel its more user-friendly to have a quick form right there on the page just to start a thread.

Possibly a hack over at vB.org for this, please remember vBadvanced.com is for vBa not for VBulletin.

Yeah, there was a hack for this for vB3.0 over there, but I haven't found an updated version since then. Also, I'm hoping for a hack like this for vBa rather than vB.

You could start with the vBa Blog module I recently completed and tweak things around a bit as it will create new threads or allow replies to exiting threads.

I would really like something like this, too. I searched over at vb.org but I didn't find anything for later versions, like the OP said.

I'd really like a module with a minimized "quick thread" form, is something like this possible?
