Hello.
I recently updated my forum to 3.5.4 and after re-installing vB CMPS, I ran into an issue (that was working fine before). Here is the problem: After hitting the "Mark Forums Read" button on my site, the "New Posts total" on the front page does not reset to "0", unless you log out of the boards or close the browser down. However it will keep incrementing as new posts are added and the actual page that shows the new posts will be correct. Before I upgraded, it was updating fine without relogging into the site. vB's cookie is set to my domain and I have had people nuke their cookie for my site. THis happens in IE and Firefox. I have done a full search on this forum but after checking through about 2 dozen threads, I cant find a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this feature is one many of us rely on

Well, tried this:
Admin CP => vBulletin Options => General Settings => Thread/Forum Read Marking Type=> Database (Automatic) Seems to work now. |

Because its the ammount of new posts since your last visit, not unread. Theres a large difference.
