Maybe a strange title..but i like to build a database where users can put some info in...
The main idea is > We run a truckersforum with vbulletin 3.5.x, at www.chauffeursforum.nl in the forum we got a navbar (in yellow) that suits perfectly for our needs.. Now our truckers came with the idea of making a database with all the truckstop restaurants in Europe.. Our idea was to do it with vbadvanced.. However if you see the navbar on the vbadvanced part ( http://www.chauffeursforum.nl/cmps_index.php) it is the same as the forum is...we would like it to be different..we would like to see countrys up there instead of the forumpart. so it looks like for example.. holland, belgium, germany..etc.etc. And if they click on Holland there should be a column on the left showing the provences of Holland...Groningen, Utrecht and so on.. and if the people click on one of the provences it should display all the truckstops located there. Also we want to build in an option for the users to ADD a truckstop that isnt in the database.. We are verry poor programmers (thats why we are truckers instead..hehehe).. so we hope someone can help us out. Sorry for my poor english. --== Freddy ==-- |

the only thing i could suggest is using the "custom navbar links" hack which will let you add your own menu to the navbar.
otherwise CMPS uses the sites navbar ... not its own. |
