Default going CRAZY

ok I have followed all the directions and everything is set up just right. I changed the paths the names renamed things as specified. When you go to www.mototips.com you get a blank page. The cmps page is set to www.mototips.com/index.php which is also a blank page. I followed the directions for installing on a root directory and it still does not work. My forum is located at www.mototips.com/forums.php do i need to edit the string from '.'; ? i am very confused

I feel for you. I went through the same exact pain for days and days with no solution - wanted to slit my wrists.

See here: http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25

Hope that helps.

theres only one thing to edit & thats in cmps_index.php

Code:
$forumpath = '';
so in your case it would be
Code:
$forumpath = '/home/yoursite/public_html';
then rename cmps_index.php to index.php & upload
