I currently own 2 vB licences and I'm wondering how I establish my licensed status here? Sorry it's a dumb question for starters
![]() *Update - yes I did use the search function, and I have tried to input the licence info. All I'm seeing on the licence page is this: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/advanced/public_html/forum/includes/vba_cmps_include_bottom.php(398) : eval()'d code on line 59 Maybe someone could help here? Belder,
Not sure what you're first post is really in regards to. vBadvanced is not a Jelsoft company so your vBulletin licenses have nothing at all do with with vBa CMPS. Did you install CMPS and are getting an error? You're having problems intergrating CMPS into your forums? What "license page" are you talking about? |

Ok - apologies for the rant, (which I've removed) all I wanted was a sensible reply.
I came here to actually download vbadvanced CMPS for use on a new vB 3.6 board we're currently constructing. I don't appear to have access to the download, and your members area tells me I have no licence. I realise you're independent from Jelsoft, so the whole thing has me somewhat confused. I read through a number of posts here regarding registration and licencing, and did my best to comply. I encountered the errors described above. As yet, I don't have a version of CMPS that appears compatible with 3.6, and I was simply trying to aquire it. I know there's a release on vBulletin.org but that appears to be for 3.0x. All I'm asking for is advice on which version is appropriate, and how to aquire it. |

OK, I think I understand what's going on now. To clarify...
There is no license check linking between being able to download vBa CMPS and your vBulletin license. To download vBa CMPS for vB 3.6.0 then follow these steps... - Go to the vBa home page (http://www.vbadvanced.com) - In the upper left hand corner in the "Services" menu click on the "Programs / Scripts" link. - Under the description for vBadvanced CMPS you'll see a price of "FREE" and two links, one for "More Info" and the other for "Download" -- Click on the Download button. - On that page click on the "I have read and agree to the terms & conditions" check box and then click on the "Continue" button. - On the next screen you select optional stuff like a paid installation or getting the branding free option. If you don't want either just click on the "Continue" button. - The next page will be a recap page. Click on the "Finalize Order" button. Almost there... - The next page is the import one. This where you specify which version of CMPS you want. Be sure to click on the "2.2.0 (vB 3.6)" selction. Then click on the "Download" button. That's it, you're all done. Unzip the file, go through the install instructions and you should be up & running in a matter of minutes. Let us know how it goes. |
