Hi All
I have the polls enabled which, if understand corectly, will show random polls as I have RAND set as the paramenter in the configuration settings. Is there a way I can have another box just showing a single constant poll? I want to run a poll asking members what they think of my new design (not launched yet) and wish to have this displayed for a few months. Is this possible please? If so, how...? Thanks John |

If you needed two polls then you would need to copy the currentpoll.php file, change some of the variables in there and hardcode the values instead, and then add a new module using the modified file.

Is this the way the poll on the portal here is always shown i.e. the one " What do you think of vBadvanced CMPS?"

No, if you only want one poll shown then you just select the forumid that you want to pull the poll from and enter it in the "Poll Forum ID" option (and you'll probably want to create a new forum for these). When you put a forumid in there rather than "RAND" it will pull the latest poll from that forum.
