I wounder if there is an easy way to subscribe to news.

Well ... there are some hacks for subscribing a whole forum. The news are taken out of a forum, so this part should be working easy.

I´d love it if I could get my users an easy "Subscribe-News"-Link directly on the news-page. Best way: daily subscription, so they get it once a day and if a moderator has some time to make changes.

Next step: If there are different news-categories / different news-forums, they could subscribe to exactly the kind of news they like to have.

Well ... really easy. Subscription of a whole forum. Functionality, that only the first post of a new thread is subscribed. Then a link to the news with "subscribe" or "unsubscribe", depending on if the user already has described the news.

Okay, it would be great if this could work out in HTML, and even greater if the user could choose between text and HTML, but for the begining text should be enough.
