Default Frontpage Help

I have the CMPS but I have not uploaded it to my site yet. Currently, my index.php is the forum itself. I want to change that and have CMPS create a frontpage. I was told by someone that this is simple: just change my current index.php to forum.php and upload the CMPS to index.php. My question is, if I do that, won't that kinda screw up my site. Aren't there directories in vb that link to things and if i change my index.php, it would be directed to the wrong places? I've added a lot of hacks and add-ons and I don't want everything to get screwed up on my site...

I basically just want an easy way to create a homepage and move my forum away from being the homepage. Thanks!

Default Re: Frontpage Help

vB has options so that you can change the homepage, so as long as you follow the instructions in the thread below you shouldn't have any problems.
