Default Guests cannot view links page.

Hi,

Can anyone help?

My guests cannot see any of the the link pages (/links/index.php)

once a user is signed in they can access the pages. (/links/index.php)

I have looked in the Usergroup permissions and Category permissions and both state that guest can view.

any ideas?

I just registered an account on your forum, but I'm not able to view the links directory as a registered member either. Are you still able to see it as an admin?

How was this problem fixed? I am noticing that I cannot view the links pages in IE but can see them fine in Firefox.

In justitaly's case, it was because he had a carriage return in his links_config.php file just above the beginning <?php mark. You may want to check that file on your server to make sure there are no returns or spaces before that mark or after the ?> at the end of the file. If that doesn't help, I'd suggest downloading the package again and overwriting your current files with the one there. Also, you may want to consider upgrading to v2.0.0 as I noticed your still running 1.0.1 on at least one of your sites.

Yeah, I have to upgrade one of our sites ti vb3.6 still - turns out I had some carriage returns in both config files in which this was happening. Thanks for the help.
