What I'd like to do is have a different page come up in the middle instead of the news when you first enter the home page, and rather have the news accessable on the navigation module. How do I go about changing it to have www.domain.com/index.php?page=main to come up instead of the news? I'm sure it's a simple change in the code but at the current time I don't have time to inspect the coding, so I was hoping Brian or another would know off-hand. Thanks.

That's easy. It's just a selection of modules you want to appear in your "Default / Homepage" page. Select what you want to appear at startup (or on your homepage), then create a new page called "news". Put the link: www.domain.com/index.php?page=news anywhere you want on your homepage (or in your navigation area) for people to see the news page (of course...when you create the news page...make sure you select the news modules).
voila!
