Default remove footer and header from news page?

Is it possible to remove the header (the vbulletin logo usualy) and the footer (the text that has the link bar and the copyright info) from the news page?

I havent seen any obious options from with in the cpanel, i assume it would probably be easier to make a new style with out this info?

Cheers

I think you can check the members area and pay for the branding free option.

You can use an if condition:

<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == 'adv_index'">

But as Darkness said, the copyright notice must still be visible.

Correct for removing the copyright notice. He can remove the navigation bar at the bottom by just editing the bottom template.

thanks for the fast responce!

i dont mind the copywrite notice to stay on the forum pages, but it just would look out of place on the news page which i hope to intergrate tightly into my website. Any ideas if this would be aceptable?

I will take a look at the top and bottom template and see what i can cut out.

Thanks

It can be placed anywhere on the page, so long as it's clearly visible and at least says "Powered by vBadvanced". Otherwise we do have a branding free option available for $39.99 which will allow you to legally remove this copyright notice.

Okay, i have got my wires crossed.

I dont mind tagging the page with "Powered by vBadvanced", because it seams like a very flexible item, i would like to remove the

"Powered by: vBulletin Version 3.0.3
Copyright ©2000 - 2004, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. "

from the news page only, any ideas if thats aceptable?

No, per the VB license that has to remain unless you pay for the no-branding option.
