All I want to do is switch the properties of the left and center columns, and have the two narrow columns to the right. I imagine this must be easy enough, by just switching the properties for these two cells, but where would I do it?
Thanks in advance

The column width options under "default settings" should do it.

Not quite. It won't let me set a fixed width for the center column (for some reason, should be possible for flexibility), which I would need to get the right and center columns the same (fixed) widths.
So I need to hardcode a switch between the properties of the left and center column. Edit: I found out where to do it. It was in the top-most vBa template

Yes, that must be it. Glad you found the solution.
