I'd like to add a full editor with a specific custom field with attachments possible.
How complicated would that be? Can anyone give me a starting hint on how to do it? |

That's something that would probably take a little time. The best I can suggest as for a hint would be to start copying code from newreply.php.

Much, much more easier to simply integrate htmlarea in there, 2 lines of code. :-)

Lionel or Brian, any chance of a quick peek at what exactly was edited please? I've had members asking about the same issue (wanting 'full' post editor as oppose 'trimmed' version).
Thanks

What do you mean by "trimmed"? We are talking about custom fields. It's either a textarea or as we are talking about, an editor.

I mean, I've had members asking how to add images (for example) to links they add. You & I know adding an image is easily done, but of my members haven't a clue unless there's an icon to guide them... hence the need for a 'fuller' editor on the addlink page.
So, although I realise we're talking about custom fields for the main page itself (of addlink), it would be beneficial for my members to be able to use the editor bar in the description, as if they were making a post on the forum.
