Default [REQ] Custom fields by category?

First of all, thanks Brian for a great update to vBadvanced Links. The custom fields are a welcome addition.

But this got me to thinking, and I wonder if a minor hack would make it work…

A friend of mine runs a Model/Photographer forum, and I’m trying to convince him to upgrade to vB. My thought was to use vBadvanced Links (with the custom fields) to create a Model & Photographer portfolio. This would require different custom fields depending on the Links Directory (Portfolio Directory) they choose.

Would anyone else have a use for this hack/option? Maybe this could be an option in a future release too?

Hmm... That might make for a good feature in a future version.
