Default clicking forum from CMPS brings forum w/o images

Hello,

If i go to http:// mywebsite / forum / index.php (forum index) i can see the full vbulletin forum with all the images and the banner.

BUT if i go to http:// mywebsite (CMPS page now labeled to index.php in my root directory) and click on Forum in the left handside navigation bar, I get a simple white page w/ no background and JUST the forum names that i created w/ forum manager. I can see all the threads and post to them and reply back to them, but there are NO images, no pictures even have "X". It is just a blank white page w/ regular fonts and forum data.

I went to vBa CMPS => Add Page and created a PHP page "FORUM" and pointed it to my /home/sitename/public_html/forum/index.php as this is the location for the forum.php page.

I THINK I set up everything right for the forum link to work on the leftside navigation from CMPS page but when i click on forum through this main page it gives me just what i described.

However if I go to mysite/forum/index.php I can see the full version of vbulletin forum. Please help!

Thanks in advance!

If you're trying to wrap the CMPS around your forums then you need to follow the instructions here instead.

I am not trying to wrap my forum. I have searched many times but all i keep getting is "wrap forum to cmps" results.

I have a FORUM 'PAGE' that i created in admicp => cmps => add page
PAGE TYPE is PHP page since i will be linking this link to my forum.index

I then point this page to go to /forum/index.php
Then the FORUM link on my CMPS page shows up right over the USERCP and FAQ.

So my links on cpms page on left hand side looks like this:

HOMEPAGE
FORUM
USER CP
FAQ

Now homepage is fine, i click on it and it brings me to the cmps page. User cp is fine as it goes to control panel, and faq goes to faq pages.

Forum also goes to forum page (forum/index.php) but w/o any images. The background is white also.

Now when I click on ANY of the forums IN forums page, or ANY link in forums page, it gives me page cannot be found error.

Forums work fine if i go to mywebsite.com/forum

but when I try to click on the forums link through CMPS page it - it brings up the forum page w/ simple text and no links work.

As you can see this is clearly not me wanting to WRAP my cmps and forum together.

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

There's no need to add a CMPS page just to add a link to your forums. Remove or disable that page, and then just edit your site navigation module and add a link to "/forum/index.php" in there.

I can do that in the nav bar, thats a great idea. Thanks!

I also do want a link on the left side so users can click on that link and go to that page. How would I do that so the link goes to forums page?
