Add the poll in your forums as you normall would, then edit your poll module through the Admin CP and pick some threads or forums to pull your polls from in the settings there.

I assume you did select a thread that contains a poll, right? Assuming that's correct, then you probably just need to edit the page you want the poll to appear in and make sure it's checked in the "Modules Enabled" section for that page.

So poll will be done via forum right? Yes, the module is active. I even tried enable/disable but got the same problem.
I had post in the following link to the forum which I had post the message. http://www.khmerclub.com/showthread.php?p=267#post267 Under: Current Poll Threads I click edit and select POLL (This is what I post a new message and called that name. Polls Forum(s) = I select announcement. This is main category I post in. Please let me know if I'm doing right. Thank! |

The thread you've linked to is not a poll. You have to use the "Yes, post a poll with this thread" setting when submitting/editing a thread and post the poll as you normally would in vBulletin.

Did you select that thread from the "Edit Threads" link, and is it showing the title of that thread just below that link when you edit the settings?
Did you edit your homepage and make sure the moudle was listed in the "Modules Enabled" section? |

Brian, I had deleted the whole current poll module. I tried to add back in but now I did not see that option any more. Do you have the current poll module so I can upload again?
For the edit threads, I select the one I created under the forum which show current poll. For edit homepage, I highlight khmerclub>>announcement. |

Click the "Download / Upload Module" link in your Admin CP and upload the "Extras (do not upload)/modules/currentpoll.module" file that comes with the download package.

I know there were some problems in previous 2.x versions with uploading modules, but they *should* be fixed in 2.2.1. v3.0 was just released a few days ago and does include some improvements with uploading modules, so you may want to try upgrading and then see if you still get that message.

Brian, it seem to be missing the "Edit Threads" under Current Poll Options.
I only see Here you may select the forum(s) in which you would like to display polls from. To select more than one forum, hold down your 'ctrl' key while selecting the forums with your mouse. This setting has been customized in the following pages: than it give you a list of forum category. I select announcement. |

You would have to change your vB usergroup or forum permissions to allow guests to vote.
