Default edmplanet.com

I was wondering how a few things were done at www.edmplanet.com

First off the upcoming events module. I saw one mod on this site but I wasn't able to get that one working with vb 3.03

Second there is a menu item for LOCAL TALENT and one for MUSIC. I've been looking for a mod that does something similar where DJs could list their bio and edit it anytime. Also the MUSIC section that has a place were DJs or Producers could upload songs or mixes they made.

Thanks!!

The upcoming events module is just a hacked version of the one that's on your forumhome. I'll see if I can get the changes together sometime and post them here.
As for the other stuff, they are all custom scripts I've written for the site.

I was going to try to modify the vbGarage script to be used for DJs and Producers but the script writer has disappeared without releasing the latest version of the script, but not knowing much about coding I was probably asking for trouble. If you would be willing, I'd send over some PayPal funds for some of those scripts too, namely the one for DJ bios.

Any chance you would be willing to sell any of them?

Perhaps eventually... Right now they're pretty specific to my site though and not really set up to be easily plugged into another.

I'm still trying to find something like the LOCAL TALENT script you use on EDM Planet, any chance of a release on that one? The closest thing I can find is vBGarage, but that's not quite what I'm looking for.

Unfortunatly I still haven't had much free time. There's quite a few things that aren't working right with the local talent section and I still haven't even had the time to get it working correctly on my site.

With the way it's set up, it wouldn't be that easy to "share" right now.
The EDM scene is doing alright around here. Nothing like it was back in the late 90's, but we still have some good events.
