Hi there,
I want to remove vBadvanced completely from my forums I would like all traces removed I have always been a stringent supporter of vBadvanced however I find it unacceptable that if you remove vBadvanced that it removes the forum pages which were previously integrated with vBa this is simply unacceptable

It doesn't remove anything from your forums.
![]() Either way... to uninstall, just re-run the vbacmps_install.php script and select the un-install option. After that remove all of the files that you physically uploaded to the server. If you are using an older version of CMPS and integrated it with your forums then you will also need to undo the manual changes you did to your global.php file and any other manual changes you may have done. |

My forums index.php was integrated with the CMPS
when I uninstalled the CMPS my forums index page disappeared as simple as that and now that you mention it .. yes, I should have done the reverse process removing things from the global thanks |

Do you think that VBA is conspiring against you, or do you think that this is a bug that can be resolved through polite and rational discussion?

techmonkey and what exactly do you think your post achieved?
KW802 thank you for your earlier reply I don't think when a site's forums disappear that it is the most pleasant situation to be in ... I uploaded a previous back up of a database and started from there somewhere along the way the vBadvanced structure has been changed to where it affected the forums, as I have uninstalled the vbadvanced over the years without this occurring and the new 'integration' method seems to have played a roll in what's happened hopefully others can be helped to avoid the same happening to them in the future |

The integration would not affect your forums when uninstalling. If you're running v3.0, then all of that would be removed during the uninstall. If you're running v2.x, then you do need to remove the changes that you made for the integration from your vBulletin files as Kevin mentioned.
