All current versions of vBadvanced products created for vBulletin 3.6 have now been updated to work with vBulletin 3.7 Beta 2 as well. This includes vBa CMPS v3.0 RC2, vBa Dynamics v1.0.0, and vBa Links Directory v2.0.1. So far there have only been 2 small issues that we are aware of with vBadvanced products. The first being that the install file would not recognize vB 3.7 as a valid version number, and the second being the broken links in the new 'Your Notifications' drop-down menu in the navbar. The installation file for each of our products has been updated to recognize vB 3.7 as a valid version number, and a new plugin has been added to handle the 'Your Notifications' drop down links.
For those who have upgraded: If you are not already running the most recent available version of a vBadvanced product, you will need to upgrade and this will add the changes made for vB 3.7 during the upgrade process. For those already running the most recent versions, you will simply need to download the most recent version from the Members' Area here again, upload the install file for the software to your forum/admincp folder, go to the file in your browser, and then add '?do=updateplugins' to the end of the URL. This will add the new plugin for the 'Your Notifications' drop-down menu and should be all that is necessary for vB 3.7 compatibility. Example of the URL's you should be going to: /admincp/vbacmps_install.php?do=updateplugins /admincp/vbadyna_install.php?do=updateplugins /admincp/vbalinks_install.php?do=updateplugins Last edited by Brian; 12-23-2007 at 01:53 PM. |

Brian,
We uploaded the latest install file and ran the installer script with the updateplugins phrase attached. It said the plugins were reinstalled but the notifications drop down still does not work on our site. Last edited by sharp65; 12-18-2007 at 05:27 PM. |

Can you go to your Plugin Manager in the Admin CP and confirm that you have a plugin called 'vBa CMPS - Prefix Notifications w/ vBulletin URL' in the 'notifications_list' hook location?

If I'm not running 3.7 right now but want to be ready for it, can I upgrade CMPS and Dynamics without breaking 3.6?

For those who are saying that their site is "not working" please clarify is that before or after using the updated versions. If you are having issues, please check the support forums to see if the problem is already being discussed or created a new thread if necessary.
The odds of a problem being address in the support forums are much greater than a problem being casually mentioned in an announcement thread.

vb dynamics -Incorrect file put for download
I am doing this from scratch. I installed vb3.7 beta 3. Then I download the latest vbdynamics. WHen I installed, it installed RC2 not the gold. When I looked at the package, it's asking to upgrade from much older version. Wrong file put for download. |

There is an issue with Photopost VBGallery and integrating with the forum index if you have the forumhome vbgallery module showing.
VBA shows fine but then the gallery module disappears and that message appears. For now I have to remove the code from my forum index till this gets fixed. I get this below: Code:
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /includes/vbgallery/forumhome_complete.php on line 25 Last edited by jaks; 12-22-2007 at 09:53 AM. |

I'm also not getting the notices to show on the main index.php page after using 3.7 beta 3 and installing the latest update for vB CMPS.
