You've added an extra apostrophe in your code.
Code:
$forumpath = ''/forum2/forum/'; |

Okay, just changed it; now, I'm getting a different error - tried following the instructions on that FAQ page as well (used the forum path found on that PHP file).

Make sure there the file exists in your FTP
try going to public html>forum2>forum> (check in the forum folder for global.php also)includes>vba_cmps_include_template.php Make sure you uploaded those files into the correct folder and make sure you linked everything up to the correct address. If they don't exist than upload everything in the upload folder for vbadvanced into forum2/forum/ and it should work fine after that. Just make sure you don't overwrite the config.php file. If you need more help just send me a PM and I will be glad to see what I can do.

In which folder do these files have to be placed?
I have vba_cmps_global.php and vba_cmps_include_template.php Located in public html>forum2>forum>forum>includes> |

PM me and I will give you my AOL screen name or just click on the link to my forum and make a post in there.
Judging by your last post, you have an extra forum folder. You can fix that by changing the index.php file to: Code:
$forumpath = '/home/bt4t/public_html/forum2/forum/forum'; vba_cmps_include_template.php should be in the includes folder located inside the second forum folder. Seems like when you made your transfer you copied the forum folder instead of just opening the folder and transferring everything inside. You can try using the code I provided OR you can just reupload the files inside the cmps/forum folder directly into your vbulletin forum folder and keep the code that you have now.

Do you have vBulletin installed? vBulletin is required for any of our products to function. I'm not seeing it anywhere, so I'm guessing you either do not have it installed, or you're uploading all of the CMPS files to the wrong location.

I just noticed that also. CMPS is a vbulletin.com add on and will not work unless you install a copy of vbulletin
