Default Make dynamics the index page instead of the forum - Dynamics in a separate folder

Hey,

I want to have my forum index show vbdynamics instead of the forum index.

I have dynamics installed in /dynamics and the forum installed in the root.

Can I change the name of the forum index and use dynamics index as my homepage?

Thanks

You could move your vB files into their own folder and then install vBa Dynamics in your root directory. You cannot have both in the same folder though due to conflicting filenames (index.php, newreply.php, search.php, etc).

Could the files not just be renamed and the links changed?

I have dynamics as my index now and renamed the forum index to index2.php

I dont want to lose all my indexed pages by moving the forum.
Could the files not be named differently first so they could be in the same folder?
I'm pretty much just using dynamics to have a portal homepage.

The files *could* be renamed, but I don't think I would recommend it. That's quite a few links to replace and would likely be a nightmare upgrading.
