Why on earth does my Add Module: BB Code Module page look like this on the new site that I'm working on which was just installed a few days ago?
It looks just fine on my other site! ~Phil

Thanks for pointing out the FAQ Instructions but I'm still lost!
I'm not the most technically inclined person so that does not help any. I just had vBadvanced professionally installed so that should tell you a lot. I found vbacmps_instal.php in my server cp but other than that I hit a brick wall. It was under public_html >admincp>vbacmps_install.php Not at all sure what is meant by "go to it in your browser" in the instructions. If I double click on it I get what is in my second picture. Bottom line....I'm lost! ~Phil

I have the same problem and would love for both of us to get more "hand-held" solution. Please? Pretty Please?

The BB Code module is functional but it certainly isn't the easiest thing to work with aside from the obvious fact that it shouldn't look that way. Is this a common problem with CMPS on the new version of vBulletin 3.7.2?Come on, a simple by step by step way to alleviate this issue would be nice. ~Phil Last edited by shimpaku; 06-30-2008 at 10:03 AM. |

If you correct your image paths as the link Carey posted above instructs that will take care of the issue.

This should be the only part you really need:

Ok, I was able to get mine to work. It doesn't make sense as the path wrt the forum path was correct. However, after finding the right URL path, it worked. Here is a shot of mine pointing to where I put my URL path. Above and below the Green Arrow are using the path relative to the root forum path.
I used this same URL path for my 2 other skins/styles. The URL you might have to trial and error to find what works. If you have FTP access to your account, then you should be able to see the direct System path, and then infer the URL path. Although, you paid for installation, therefore I would expect a repair or redo by the installer as a minimum. Now I have a similar question that is related to this and hopefully a resolution will follow. The Closed Thread Button for my installed styles is not coming up. The image is broke. Using the same technique as above, I was able to successfully get each of the other images. I verified that the image.gif was there and still no success. Here are the examples: Works: http://flamesandash.com/styles/vB_Da.../newthread.gif Broke: http://flamesandash.com/styles/vB_Da...readclosed.gif Please let me know if I'm still committing a user-error. Thanks in advance. |

Looks like the file was corrupted. Try re-uploading it in binary mode.

Well, I tried entering everything but my first born! No go.
I do have a skin but it looks the same way with the default vBulletin skin. I give up. Something must have went wrong during the installation. I don't know what else to do. ~Phil
