Default problems after upgrade

after upgrading in admincp usergroup and cat permission show just a blue page thumbs arent showing and although i reverted the templates it still uses the old ones

Are you sure you're reverting the templates in the right style? There's no way it would use old templates if so.

i fixed that. but in admincp when i click Usergroup Permissions, Category Permissions, Add Link, Mass Manage Link i get nothing

Try re-uploading your forum/admincp/vba_links_admin.php and vba_links_admin_permissions.php files.
