I have a couple of image links on vBa that are broken.
When I go in to the style setting and add forum to the image links in the Image Paths area it fixes the problem. But on the forum is throws off those images as they now have an extra "forum" in the image path. What I am forgetting to do

Ah sorry, I should give some more information.
I don't know if I uninstalled vBa CMPS right, I just clicked uninstall from the plugin menu in the admin CP. I later reinstalled it and found that many of the links to pictures are broken. After uninstalling again, they are still broken. Is there any way I can fix this?? |

well depends on type of skin you have ..i seen them coded incorrectly ..if you dont know code real well then sometimes it is quicker to put the forum skin folder on the root and see if problem dissappears ...or you cna go into code and fix the links ... you can PM me details and i can take a look real quick or put link here to forum ...where is your CMPS located on index of the www or under Forum folder ?

I am also having the same problem with my images. On my pages, the style selections are correct but when I click on to the forums; I get a broken link. Upon checking properties of them, it seems to of added an addition /forums to the url of the image.
why are so many of us having this issue. Please help. I have a fresh install with the latest vbulletin and cmps. My skin is all manually added. http://www.guildcommand.com The images are correct here. http://www.guildcommand.com/index.php?pageid=aoc This page is correct as well. http://www.guildcommand.com/forums The images here are broken. |

Yeah, I managed to do it myself
Updating Style Images Manually: If it is the buttons/logo/status icons/etc that you are having a problem with, go to your Style Manager in your Admin CP. From there, select 'All Style Options' next to the style you are having a problem with. On that page you will see a list of image paths. Make sure that all of the paths there contain the full URL to each directory. Example: http://yoursite.com/forums/images/buttons or /forums/images/buttons Basically that. |
