Default Can I place index.php to the root folder?

Can I place the index.php (renamed) to the root folder?

If I can't, can I possibly use .htaccess to create such a thing?

If you do not have your forums or other files with conflicting names in your root directory then you could upload all of the files from the 'dynamics' folder in the download package to your root directory. Otherwise a .htaccess file would probably be your best bet.

Let's say I wanted it to be in the root folder called articles.php so the link would look like test.com/articles.php instead of test.com/articles/

Not sure if I can do that with a simple .htaccess redirect.

That might be possible, but I don't think I would recommend it since every other vBa Dyanmics link is going to be pointing to the articles folder.
