Default How do I redisplay a News thread on portal page?

On our site the new News forum threads display on the vBa CMPS portal page for the specified number of days. Works great. Is there a way to redisplay a thread that has gone past the specified number of days on the portal page again?

Using vBulletin v3.7.2 pl2

I thought about that too. I'll try it but not sure if there's a better way.

Would seem like the easiest solution to me. Alternatively you could either copy all the content to a new thread. (if you want to keep the posts)

There might be another solution for it in vba, but this seems like the easiest solution to me.

Copying the thread didnt work. Which kinda surprises me. I do want to keep the posts too. Does anyone have any other suggestions or solutions?

Sticky and merge dont work either. I guess I'll just create a new thread and copy each post over.

You could use the News Archive module to display a condensed list of threads past those shown in the News module.

Will this allow the threads to stay displayed on the portal page past the 'Cut-Off Date'?

No, but you can increase the cut-off date so those older threads would be able to stay around in the archive.
