Default cmps_index forum names do not VB

vbulletin has the correct forum names via: Admin CP => vBulletin Options => Site Name / URL / Contact Details => Homepage Name

The CMPS forum name is wrong, how do you change the CMPS forum names?

Thanks, Houser

Which "forum name" exactly are you trying to change? The text in the navbar, the link in your Site Navigation module, or what exactly?

Wish it was so easy. Yes that works for the forum, but does not change it on my cmps home page. I remember that it was set at time of installation of cmps. I do not want run install again. Looking for the varible name and what templete it is in. What you offer as a solution does not work for my cmps_index.pup page.

Are you changing the Homepage name setting instead of the Forum name setting? As long as you're changing that setting then you will see the change in your navbar.

It's not going to change as long as you keep changing the Forum Name setting. You need to change the Homepage Name setting just below.

Brian,

I finally, after trail & error, got it to work the way I needed. I had to guess at array names and their option values. Is there any link to the array names in CMPS and/or Vbulletin that you know of. It is hard to write scripts without it. I don't seam to find it on the forums. For now I just removed vbulletin nav bar to correct some issues.

Thanks for typing back at me, it helped me narrow down my issue. Oh, does this script stuff use the elseif statement?

There's not a list of variables as far as I'm aware. Any vBulletin settings can be found in the 'setting' table of your database though. vBa settings can be found in the 'adv_setting' table.
