Changed forums' index.php to forum.php - problem!

As the title stated, I'm having a problem with this.

I installed the cmps to the root directory, and the forum was already installed there, as well.

I followed your instructions about changing the forum's index.php to forum.php, and the cmps_index.php to index.php.

However, the dropdown menus on the navigation bar on the cmps don't work now.

Further, I had to go through every auto generated link on the homepage and prefix it with the full url because the links were pointing to www.homepage.com/forum.php/calendar.php (example), so I had to affix the entire url to the beginning of the link to make it work. But the dropdowns still don't work.

ALSO I just discovered that all of the links in the recent threads module, and every module that is linked back to the forum, is also looking for www.homepage.com/forum.php/.

What is going on with this??

ugh sorry I didnt realize I had posted this before. I don't remember how I fixed this.
