Default vBa CMPS & Links Directory v4.0.0 "Gold" Released!

vBadvanced is happy to announce the releases of vBa CMPS v4.0.0 "Gold" and vBa Links Directory v4.0.0 "Gold" for vBulletin v4.0. With both products having been in the Beta and RC stages for the last couple of months, we're confident that any remaining undiscovered bugs should be minimal and minor enough to warrant the "Gold" release of each product.
Current license holders will find the latest versions available for download in the Members' Area here, and new customers may purchase/download from the 'Products' link at the top of any page.

Upgrading
Upgrade instructions are the same as usual and may be found in the readme.html file in the download package.

If you have any problems or questions regarding the new release, please post them in the support forums:

Great work Brian! Congratulations!
I presume this is only for 4.x versions of vBulletin?

Thanks.

And that is correct, v4.0 of both products only works with vB4.

I hope the 'Most Viewed Threads' thing works correctly now. Even with vBulletin's crappy widget version, it didn't work as advertised.

It would ONLY display the Most Viewed Threads if the thread happened to have a reply to it within the cutoff date.

Example : If your Most Viewed Thread for the day had no reply to it....and your cutoff date = 1.... it would never display. So basically = inaccurate.

Most Viewed Threads should display regardless if it has had a recent reply or not.

Trying to find something that has a list of whats been fixed...But I don't see it in the README.

WTF? This is the announcement forum not the complaints section!

Brian - excellent work once again. Thanks. I guess my previous question is now null & void.

Its not a complaint, i'm asking a legitimate question before I bother installing it.

I've had a branded free version of CMPS installed for years now.

mike - I'm not really sure what 'Most Viewed Threads' thing you are referring to. If there's something you're having a problem with though please start a new thread in one of the CMPS support forums.

Brian,
I've used vBa CMPS on xfalcon.com for the last 4 years and have always loved it's functionality and ease of use. When I loaded up a VB4 test bed and started creating my forum theme and front page layout using the CMS, I persisted with it as I thought vBa couldn't be used with VB4 somehow. About a week ago I finally found out and loaded it up.. what can I say.. it integrates excellently with VB4 and for me it really shows just how inadequate VB's CMS really is. Excellent work mate, when I go live with VB4 in 2 weeks time it'll proudly be powered by vBa.

Cheers.

...I'm always hesitant to try a new build when the company/site/author of the build doesn't trust it enough to actually use it.

Why haven't you updated vbadvanced.com yet if it's "good to go"?

This is great news. Thanks for all of the hard work!

I have been waiting for vBadvanced. I will install this and vB 4.03 on my home computer and give it a try.

Appreciate the release Brian.

Is there a list of changes made since RC1 ?
