Please read the forums and use the search before posting, this has already been noted here in a good number of threads.

vB4.1.4 has broken a number of mods , Brian is working on an update fo CMPS.

To be able to move your modules turn off drag and drop and use the legacy menu system.

And is there another way to change the module content?

Not currently with vb4.1.4. Brian is working on a fix for it though.

Can you tell us a date for the new realease? 1-3 days or 2 weeks?

Some things on the cmps must be changed on my site and perhaps i use another portal if it takes too much time.

Dont understand me wrong. I love the cmps from brian.

No ETA yet. But you can still use CMPS, just use the legacy module controls (not drag & drop). Just make sure you have a backup of all your bbcode modules, because if you do anything to them, their content will be deleted, due to the new editor VB uses.

If a bbcode module gets emptied, you can manually put it back in using phpmysqladmin.

Which field are you entering the BBcode into in PMA to rebuild the module?

I've tried several and none of them will output to the site.

Thanks!

Default Downgrade

Better to downgrade the vBulletin?

Did Brian release a new version compatible to vB 4.1.4 100%?

There are numerous posts about issues with CMPS & vB 4.1.4, and no new versions of CMPS have been released yet. Are you saying that Brian should post every day saying that he has not yet released a new version?

Sorry but you should use the forum correctly, there is an ANNOUNCEMENTS FORUM where all news is posted. Any updates/new releases are posted there.

The issues with the new vB editor should be fixed now if you upgrade to vBa CMPS v4.1.1.

BBCode is working well now, but still can't Drag&Drop modules (though this is a much lower priority then BBCode ).

You can try to get around this by using remote Yahoo! User Interface script server. This works on my sites, may work for you. May not. Make backups of your files. Try it at your own risk, and all of that.

Edit the "includes/class_core.php" file to ask for the older YUI library.

From this:

Code:
define('YUI_VERSION', '2.9.0'); // define the YUI version we bundle
To this:

Code:
define('YUI_VERSION', '2.7.0'); // define the YUI version we bundle
AdminCP -> Settings -> Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Use Remote YUI -> select one.

That has fixed drag & drop on both of my sites running vB 4.1.4. No unwanted effect to anything else.

Note: if any of your site users have API blocked in their browser, some site functions will stop working for them. Pop up notifications for PMs, the logout window, etc. will not show up.

Brian, thank you for the update! I will be installing it tonight

I can't seem to reproduce any issues with the drag & drop code, but if one of you guys would like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.

As for the double URL's in Dynamics modules that are used within the CMPS, you should be able to resolve that by looking in your forum/includes/vba_cmps_include_top.php file for this code:
PHP Code:
    // vBa Dynamics Replacements

if (!empty($vba_dyna_temps))
And replacing it with this:
PHP Code:
    // vBa Dynamics Replacements

if (!empty($vba_dyna_temps) AND $vba_options['dyna_version'] <= '2.0.1'
