Default Suggestion

I only have one complaint about vB advanced, other than it is absolutly amazing. The thing is that on my forum I have quite a few styles for users to select. Now when I use your portal if I want to add a new page to my site. I have to do it many many times because of all the styles I have. Do you think its possible that in the future there will be away make this less of a pain?

Thanks,

Im sorry if I sound like an idiot but I dont understand how a parent style relationship works let alone have the slightest clue as to anything about them.

Basically you should have one 'main' style and then add any new styles as a child of that style.

No, they will function just as they do now. The only difference will be that any changes you make to that main style will affect any child styles, assuming that you haven't modified the same template in the child style.

So if can I just move them to make this happen or will I have to re-install them?

You can move them and everything you change in the parent from now on out will effect the rest.. Easy money.

You'll need to change the image paths (though those should have already been changed, unless they were changed in the parent style and not the child style) and the header template.

Shouldn't... But the path to that style's images may be incorrect if nothing was ever set for the child style.
