Default vbulletin.com down?

Is it down for you all? It doesn't seem to appear to be working for me.

Both vBulletin.com and .org are down.... which is preventing me from downloading the CMPS from this website.

Maybe they're working on the merger? But then... why would .com be down?

Bruce

vb.com wouldn't be down due to the merging, unless they did something seriously wrong during the process.

I hope it has nothing to do with 3.0.4.

That is an interesting theory .. they release a new version and then disappear .. think I'll be leaving the upgrade for a few weeks

I upgraded today as well. I hope I didn't screw the goose.

I find it odd, after the first upgrade since last Jaunuary they crash.

Perhaps it is as simple as a line to their data center is down?
jelsoft, vbulletin.com, .org, templates are all off line.

Does anybody know if they were trying to merge vbulletin.org and vbulletintemplates.com today
because vbulletintemplates.com is down as well, which means more then likely the whole server is down

I pinged the IP and it works which means DNS is working.

Considering all of those sites are down, what is the most logical place for administrators of those websites to post at?

I'd say that's unlikely, but you never really know. Perhaps it is a good thing I decided to wait until tomorrow to upgrade here though.

I've installed vBulletin twice and vBa twice!
I did a clean install Saturday. Then I see that there was a new version.
Figuring I should do that before I go live, I wiped out v3.0.3 and vBa.
Installed .4. Imported from my phpBB board. Installed vBa.
I must say, it was easier the 2nd time around.

Bruce most admins check out all of the support sites, or at least alot of them

But the biggest is probably vbulletin.nl
I know most of the admins of vbulletin.com are signed up there

If I'm currently using php and want to upgrade to php4 like Vbulletin requested people do with this current update, how do I go about doing it with my current forums since everything points to php?! If I just take off the '4', is there even any difference?! Thanks for the help!

The Vb server might be overloaded from people downloading the update. I know I downloaded 5 different copies for all my forums (the license # is different for each copy)
Might not be related at all, but I know they released the notification about the update and now the server is down...
