Hi,
I have been trying to add a skyscraper ad module to my site, http://www.freestuffpage.com/cmps_index.php I have been given the following ad banner code from Burst Media. Code:
<script language="JavaScript">
rnum=Math.round(Math.random() * 100000);
document.write('<scr'+'ipt src="http://www.burstnet.com/cgi-bin/ads/sk1000a.cgi/v=2.0S/sz=120x600A|160x600A/'+rnum+'/RETURN-CODE/JS/"></scr'+'ipt>');
</script><noscript><a href="http://www.burstnet.com/ads/sk1000a-map.cgi/ns/v=2.0S/sz=120x600A|160x600A/" target="_top">
<img src="http://www.burstnet.com/cgi-bin/ads/sk1000a.cgi/ns/v=2.0S/sz=120x600A|160x600A/" border="0" alt="Click Here"></a>
</noscript>
I have ensured that "Update All Pages" have been checked on and is active. This module appears in the Edit Modules page, but it is not shown on the page specified above. Can anyone please let me know if I need to make any changes given to me from ad agencies such as Burst Media? Or have I followed the wrong instructions? Or should the code be in a php file? If so, how? Thanks in advance for your help. |

bchow,
What are the results that you're getting now? Your overview of what you've done so far sounds correct (create the template, create the module, add the module to your pages) so it's just a matter of narrowing down where the problem is. |

Hi KW802,
Thanks for offering your help. The result is that the module is invisible on the left column of the VBAdvanced home page, http://www.freestuffpage.com/cmps_index.php Here is the code I have placed in the adv_portal_burstsky: Note that I have placed the "generic wrapper" code to place the banner into a box, as instructed by the Add Module Instructions in the Manual. ![]() The module is visible at the "Edit Modules" page. Here is a screenshot of the burstsky module itself: I have placed the module on the left column. I hope that I have enough screenshots for you or anyone to help me. Thanks in advance for your help. |

OR Template to Include:
Please note that templates should have the prefix "adv_portal". It is not necessary to enter that prefix with the template name, so if the template you would like to include is named "adv_portal_search" then you would simply enter "search" for the template to include. |
