Default Really messed up - upgrade 3.05, all gone?

I am not quite sure where to begin... I successfully upgraded to vb3.05 after getting their security announcement. Of course after the upgrade my VBA was gone, so I re-edited my files/templates, ran the update templates option, and now my VBAdvanced home page(index.php from the root) displays blank, AND my forum dir (index.php) displays blank. I have been reading over similar experiences here but have yet to find any applicable comparison - any suggestions as to where I should begin troubleshooting at this point?

Thanks!

Did you try reading the Sticky at the top of the forum?

Try reuploading original files and hacking from scratch

Yes, as well as posts in this and the "how do I" forum - I didn't see an instance where both the root page (VBAdvanced) and the forum dir (VB dir) displayed blank.

I assume you mean the original vb files - I'll give that a shot. Thanks

Absolutely Ranma,

I made all the changes in the php files as they were replaced with new ones, then I went to run the install script and just ran the one for the templates.

I was really getting worried thinking I was gonna have to set it all up from scratch again.
