News module. avatars

Hi. The vB 4.x has ability to show small avatar despite the fact what is the permission on user groups. It squashes any avatar in 60x60 to show in modules and @steam etc. SO I was wondering : how to show those small avatars in the news module of vBA instead of full-size ones, please?
