I followed all the instructions here on how to get my $navbar2 working but it appears that the new version of vbadvanced is a little different. How can I get this second nav bar working.
Thanks!

I never got the whole navbar2 thing
why not just add that template to the navbar template. |

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Default Settings => Portal Output Global Variables
Add 'navbar2' there. |

I just tried to install this, and it doesnt work on my main page, nor in my forums. I followed the original install guide, plus edited the vba_cmps_include_bottom.php file as was suggested, and still nothing. I did your suggestion too Brian.

I got mine to work, you just need to check out the templates in an HTML editor because it seems not all themes retain the same colors as you go from forum to portal.

I'm using the default style. I dont have any special theme. I havent changed the .css options for either navbar or navbar2.

After screwing with it some more, I found that if I chante this:
<!-- Drop down for menu #1 in navbar--> <div class="vbmenu_popup" id="dropdown1_menu" style="display:none"> to <!-- Drop down for menu #1 in navbar--> <div class="vbmenu_popup" id="dropdown1_menu"> It will at least display the menu, although the menu is broken. What exactly is "style="display:none"? |

The style tag shouldn't affect the menu at all. I'm not sure why you would be having a problem with it, but if you'd like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look.

I was just trying to figure this out as well over the last few days. I was just ready to give up.. Thanks Brian. Worked like a charm.

Brian, do you have your own method of getting 2 nav bars easily?

I tried that, but, if you have numerous links it gets really crowded.
