Default Avatar not working properly on welcome block

Hi there. So close to "opening" my new fromt page powered by VBA CMPS.

One small niggling little issue to go.

User has an avatar - the welcome block shows their avatar without a problem. - Great
Guest shows up - the welcome block becomes a "sign in or reister" section - great (although I'd love for the "guest user please register" avatar I have on the forum to show up there instead - still not comfortable playing with the code though)
Main issue: User doesn't have an avatar. In firefox the welcome panel shows the text based link "edit your avatar" but in IE it shows as a broken image. In the forum itself I have it to show an avatar that says "no avatar selected". I'd love for that work on the welcome panel too but instead I get txt or broken images depending on the browser.

Screenies attached.

Image 1 is of the avatar working correctly. Image 2 is of the text "edit avatar" in firefox. Image 3 is the broken image in IE. Image 4 is the log in bit that would be great to have the "welcome gues please register" avatar displayed instead of the username/password box.

Default Re: Avatar not working properly on welcome block

Main issue fixed. I didn't realise I had to upload the "noavatar" file to the misc directory of the style. Once I did that it worked beautifully!

So now I'll take the other thing off to the requests thread Also my issue with spacing - if I remove the nav bar everything is crammed right up the top. A small gap would be nice.
