New Project... need some feedback

I am working on a new project which is an online magazine using vBaCMPS. I would like to get some feedback on color combinations on what not. So far the site is shaping very nicely as we are just finishing the template section, and start on graphics and content. Site should be live at the end of the month.

Looking pretty good. Did you mean to have the same "Featured Cars" in both the left and right columns?

Yeah, its just there to take up space right now. The right side will be for ads and misc modules like Editors Corner and Featured Products. The left side will have more stuff on it also. I am so far very happy with where this is going. I was originally going to fab this all by hand but damn this CMPS is very flexible!

One question I have is there is a spacer in the footer there with an empty section with the page color. Is there anyway I can eliminate that and move the bar below up.
