Default installation hangs on do=doimages

how can i skip this stage ?

in any case, i do not have any additional icons so there might be some problems with the script.

Is GD properly installed on your server (with gif, jpg ... support)? I suggest you to contact your server admin.

The install file can sometimes get stuck at the images part, usually if you have a lot of smilies or icons on your forum. For this reason, that is the last step of the installation (other than a conformation page to tell you the script is installed, but there's nothing on that page that has to be done). So as long as you made it that far then everything should be installed.
