Default AdminCP not "Saving"?

Hello,

My site I've installed vBadvanced to and like the way it works with my layout and skin. It looks great. But there are a few things I'l like to change but they aren't saving in the admin CP.

Layout changes and things like adding the news area, and adding the calendar is working fine, but when I try to change the title of the home page it isn't working.

I have no problem reading things, I just need to be pointed in the right direction.

I'm also really amped and my patience to make this thing work is going insane... So help would be great.

http://www.7hmgaming.com/cmps_index.php?

EDIT:050613 21.00:

Hello,

I can't log out of my site... I keep getting error 404s saying that I don't have sufficent privilages to view the page.

A link to some help on this please... I'm the admin and can't afford to have this kind of security issue.

Currently I need to delete cookies when I leave a computer.

This is an issue with all members of the site...

I've created a registered user for you to see the problem. It works fine on the forums until you attempt to log off.

Another issue...

On my forum index, I have it set so that the links on the top follow the full URL (www.mysite.com/forum/pagetodisplay.php?)

Well on the portal it has cut the /forum part out... How and where do I correct this?

Fixed... I had to edit the style header to reflect the URL instead of the variable.

I changed the style, then realized that my changes didn't effect child styles.

It's fixed now.

The title for the homepage is not done in the CMPS

Go to the top left of the admincp, where it says vbulletin options

Go to "Site name / URL / contact details"

3rd one down "homepage name"

change that to what you want the name to be

I've changed it... You can see this on the forum index. It's not saving over to the CMPS index. It's like they are missing a connection.

The connection is so bad I believe it has caused this:

Excuse mine as well... So... please explain how I would do this. If you would like to carry this one out on the vbadvanced forum please do so... or we can copy and paste our posts in both places.

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Default Settings => Navbar Replacements

Make sure that login.php and the rest of the filenames in your navbar are listed in that option.

I don't have that option in my cBa CMPS cp.
I'm going to look into it today. Will someone who knows this software be on today at some point to possibly give me a hand if needed?

I think I'm going to reinstall the entire hack again.

If you're just going to reinstall, you should probably install v2.0 instead.

OK.. The problem is with my server. The path which my forums are located seems to be incorrect in the cmps_index.php.

I've tried everything. When I do what the instructions tell me I get the chdir error where it finds errors when loading. So... I set it to ./foums and everything works except the login. I can get the nav bar and everything else to work (after modifying all my templates to reflect the full URL of my site).

I've tried everything. What am I doing wrong?
